Monthly Destination Ride

9:00 a.m. departure, gassed up and ready to ride.

This ride is the newest TT ride the Saturday before our club meeting each month.  The inaugural run is in August 2009.  It is not a fast paced ride to encourage the ladies and gentlemen of our club, who prefer a more relaxed pace than our usual rides, to join in.  Differing from our other monthly rides, these rides are more about a destination, like the aquarium at Fort Fisher or the Great Dismal Swamp or the House in the Horseshoe.  The destination will be announced on this website and the Yahoo! forum prior to the ride.  If it is raining on ride day, consider the ride cancelled.

The rides departs from the same location each month shown below.  Hope to see you there.

On September 18th Sandy, and I along with Emily and Kevin, Paul and Becky, Paty
and Dan, Steve and Heather, Bert and Arianis will be in Ft Lauderdale getting
ready to board Oasis of the Seas. So if anybody wants a really long destination
you are welcome to ride to Ft Lauderdale to see us off. I suggest you leave on
Friday like us to make it on time.

Just in case you were planning on joining the Destination Ride on September 18th - you might want to have a destination cause Pete won't be there.

I will post the up and back route in the file section where I have put the others.

As usual we leave at 9am from the BP at 401 and Spring Forest weather permitting.
